amy wilde

President

Amy Wilde, founder and President of ACP-Communities, launched the company in 2014 as a boutique real estate advisory and asset management firm focused on managing specific portfolios for private equity firms.

Amy has been in the industry for more than 30 years and has worked with and for many renowned and reputable companies and organizations – including private equity (Lubert Adler and Tishman Speyer), Fortune 500 (Equifax), and public sector (General Services Administration). Her recent background, prior to starting ACPC, was with private equity where she spent 7 years as a Principal of Lubert Adler Real Estate funds, and immediately prior to that as Asset Manager for Tishman Speyer, with responsibility for their Atlanta commercial real estate portfolio. She started her career with the General Services Administration as the project manager/contracting officer for the Atlanta Federal Center, a 1.7M square foot, $260M class-A office building jointly developed under a pilot public/private partnership, which became a nationwide template for large federal government ground-up development projects.

Amy specializes in execution of strategy and operations. She has been responsible for development, operations, asset management and workouts for more than $3B of office, mixed-use, hospitality and resort-residential assets during her career.

Amy earned dual BS degrees in Business and Communications and graduated with highest distinction from Liberty University in 1987.

Daniel Baker

VP development & Operations

As VP Development and Operations for ACP Communities, Daniel provides oversight, strategic planning, and direction for hospitality and commercial operations and real estate portfolios.  

His 27 years of experience include an array of asset management and advisement, ranging from acquisition, entitlement, development, horizontal and vertical construction, governmental and regulatory liaise, and real estate sales, to operations management and optimization, as well as portfolio positioning and disposition. 

His work for private consulting and management firms representing investment portfolios and operating hospitality concerns, private developers, land owners, port authorities, utilities, local governments, and community development districts, coupled with his service in the public sector where he was involved in policy development and implementation, affords a unique and broad body of professional expertise and perspective to assist portfolio ownership.  

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a State of Florida Professional Engineer’s license.

 

 

tim mcguire

VP battle mountain development

Tim McGuire is a Senior Development Executive working on the Battle Mountain project in Minturn, Colorado.  Battle Mountain was originally planned as a 1,700-unit, private, mixed use resort on over 5,000 acres located between Vail and Beaver Creek Ski areas. Tim is responsible in leading the effort to re-position the project, to allow for future residential and commercial uses on the property that reflect current market trends as well as the needs of the community.  In conjunction with that effort, Tim oversees the development of annual budgets and project pro-formas as well as leading legal, planning, engineering and public relations efforts. 

Tim has a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and is a registered professional engineer with over 20 years of experience in all facets of mountain resort operations, residential and commercial planning, construction, and project management. 

 

 

Ben Whittinghill

Real estate associate

Ben serves ACPC as an Associate with a focus on strategy and operations execution for assets under management and financial analysis. His 12 years of experience include acquisitions, asset management, portfolio repositioning, valuation, and dispositions. 

Prior to joining ACPC, Ben was an Associate with private equity firm Lubert-Adler, where he helped manage a large portfolio of mixed-use, hospitality, and resort-residential property.

Ben is also the Lead Pastor of Rivertown Church in Brattleboro, VT where he resides with his wife Kayla and their seven children. He graduated with Honors from the University of Georgia where he received a B.B.A. in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy. Ben also holds a Master of Divinity from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
